Founded in 2011 by Dr Ansulette Kay, our clinic is dedicated to providing personalised care, natural-looking results, with a strong focus on ethics and patient safety. Whether you’re looking to prevent or treat the signs of ageing or enhance your features, we work with your budget and prioritise your needs accordingly. Cosmetic Physician MBChB BSc

Dr Ansulette Kay has been practising as a medical doctor for 17 years, and as a cosmetic physician for over ten years.

She is a Fellow of Cosmetic Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, and continually updates her knowledge and practical skills by attending numerous conferences and workshops in the field of cosmetic medicine, as well as overseeing and providing training for colleagues to raise the standards of care in the wider industry.

Meet Dr Ansulette Kay/

Dr Ansulette Kay is a cosmetic medicine practitioner on the north side of Brisbane. Originally from South Africa, she immigrated to NZ where she graduated from Medical School in 2003 (Otago University) after first obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Anatomy (1999, Otago University ).

It was her love and appreciation of Anatomy that lead to an interest in Cosmetic Medicine, a career she pursued after moving to Australia in 2006. It was her passion to provide a personalised experience that lead to the establishment of Youthful Concepts in 2011.

Dermal and Laser Therapist
Nicola is an experienced dermal and laser therapist who brings over 15 years of knowledge and dedication to the field of medi-aesthetics. Her extensive qualifications, including a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and certification as a Laser Safety Officer, underscore her commitment to providing the highest level of care and expertise. Nicola's specialisations include: Dermal Skin Treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and micro-needling to address a wide range of skin concerns. Comprehensive Skin Consultations: providing personalised skin assessments and treatment plans - utilising medical grade cosmeceuticals to ensure optimal results. Laser skin rejuvenation and resurfacing. Advanced training in several energy based devices; specialising in skin tightening, as well as facial and body contouring. Treatments she will perform at Youthful Concepts: Skin analysis and Treatment planning, Skin needling, Chemical peels, Vasculyse, Ultraformer 3, as well as Tixel treatments.

Kirsten will be the friendly face welcoming you in reception from Wednesdays to Fridays. Her background is graphic design and hospitality- a perfect match for making sure anyone visiting Youthful Concepts is well looked after, as well as using her graphics skills for designing anything we might need- like our new logo and the sign on the building!

I am a doctor trained and qualified in Australia, bringing 20 years of experience to my practice. My passion for women's health has always been strong, but it became more personal a year after the birth of my first child when I experienced five fractured ribs due to lactational osteoporosis. This deepened my commitment to addressing health issues that disproportionately affect women. I believe that the most critical period for women’s health are the perinatal and perimenopausal stages. Insufficient attention and care during these times can lead to significant and lasting effects on a woman's life journey. Engaging with and supporting women during menopause transition has been both fascinating and fulfilling for me - the difference that treatment can make is sometimes astonishing. Hearing my patients say they feel like themselves again and are thriving in their family, social, and work lives is something I treasure. While Menopause is a natural part of life, we have the chance to influence how it unfolds. I look forward to meeting you and navigating this time together.

Dr Ansulette Kay has been practising as a medical doctor since 2003, focusing on cosmetic medicine since 2010.

She is a medical Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine, and is currently the Assistant Dean of the Medical Faculty.
